Jackson Lumber Harvester Company, Inc., was represented at the International Biomass Conference & Expo. Representatives from Jackson had a trade show booth at this event, which was held May 2-5 in St. Louis, Missouri. Publicized as the "world's largest biomass event," there were more than 2,000 attendees.
Tours were scheduled to industrial sites as part of the conference. The exposition portion of the event was held at the America's Center, where Jackson Lumber Harvester Company, Inc., was one of the 300 exhibitors.
The featured item of emphasis in the Jackson display was the Webb Burner, manufactured and sold by Jackson Lumber Harvester Company in cooperation with inventor and physicist, W. B. Webb. Webb Burners are ideal for generating large quantities of heat for industrial processes, at substantially less cost per BTU than traditional oil- or gas-fired systems. Jackson manufactures a complete line of Webb Burners available in sizes up through 60 million BTU per hour.
